South Burlington man sentenced for sex assault

A South Burlington man will serve 5 to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in 2008, a judge ordered this week. Judge Michael Kupersmith sentenced Jeffory Hammond, 48, in Vermont Superior Court in Burlington.
